Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join the healthcare team in Cortland Manor, NY. The role is 8–16 hours per month with potential for additional coverage, onsite at Hudson Valley Hospital Center-MAIN.

You will identify nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and enhance quality of life in line with patient goals, while collaborating with the care team and adhering to practice standards. $62–$68 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian and eligibility to practice.
• Bachelor's degree in nutrition; a Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensed or certified according to state requirements; CDR exam eligibility.
• Completes continuing education hours every five years per CDR standards.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ nutritional needs and develop care plans within the healthcare team.
• Provide nutrition education to patients, staff, and consultants following standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up nutrition-related procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement programs related to dining and nutrition.
