Job summary
Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian for the Cortland Manor, NY area to support the Hudson Valley Hospital Center-MAIN healthcare team. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, planning interventions, and promoting quality of life aligned with patient goals.
Typical schedule is 8-16 hours per month with potential additional coverage. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of RD experience, appropriate nutrition degrees, and state licensure or certification.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience as a Registered Dietitian.
- Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (before 2024) or related field.
- Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
- Licensed or certified per state requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
- Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with departments to set up procedures and policies in dining service and nutrition.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement programs.
