Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian for our healthcare dining team at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, developing interventions, and coordinating with care teams to support patients\' well-being.

This PRN position typically schedules 8–16 hours per week. Candidates must hold a Bachelor\'s in Nutrition, a Master’s degree, and be licensed or eligible to practice; CDR exam or equivalent; CE hours every five years; and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (required) and Master’s degree in nutrition or related field.
• Passes national exam by CDR or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Completes 75 hours CE every five years per CDR guidelines.
• Licensed or certified as required by state.
• Knowledge of regulations for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients.
• Assess nutritional needs and plan interventions to maintain or improve status.
• Ensure compliance with Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards.
• Collaborate with dining services and other departments on nutrition procedures.
