Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare and food service team in Pittsburgh, PA. The role focuses on identifying and addressing nutritional needs, initiating interventions, and improving quality of life for patients/residents.

The position is typically scheduled 8 - 16 hours per week and onsite at Allegheny General Hospital. Competitive hourly pay with emphasis on growth and ongoing learning.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

• Identify and assess the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents.
• Initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain nutritional status.
• Enhance quality of life consistent with patient’s goals.
• Educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants on nutrition.
• Follow standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Participate in development and improvement of quality programs.
