Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian for our healthcare and food service team at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Registered Dietitian, you will identify and assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve nutritional status, and enhance quality of life in line with goals.

This position typically schedules 8–16 hours per week. You will provide nutritional expertise to the health care team, educate patients and staff, follow

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
Passed a national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible per Academy.
Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.

Responsibilities

Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
Participate in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
