Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare & food service team in Pittsburgh, PA. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and enhance quality of life aligned with patient goals. This position typically schedules 8-16 hours per week and is onsite at Allegheny General Hospital.

qualifications include a nutrition degree, CDR exam or eligibility, and state licensure. Prior healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed national exam by the CDR or eligible.
• 75 hours continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess nutritional needs of patients/residents.
• Initiate interventions to achieve and maintain nutritional status.
• Enhance quality of life aligned with patient goals.
• Educate health care team and patients about nutrition.
• Participate in development and quality improvement programs.
