Advocate Health Stanly is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations under the radiologist’s direction. The role requires attention to patient history, positioning, and safety protocols in a busy imaging department.

This PRN, holidays-as-needed position offers a per diem schedule with on-call shifts. Ideal candidates are ARRT-credentialed, registry eligible within one year, CPR certified, and capable of multi-modality imaging and accurate

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
