Job summary

Atrium Health Stanly is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, document patient history, verify identity, and prepare contrast media. You will work with radiologists to ensure accurate positioning and high-quality images in a busy clinical setting.

Requires ARRT-recognized radiologic technology education, registry eligibility within 1 year, CPR certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program graduate.
• Registry eligible with completion within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
