Qualifications

• Be in the last semester or having graduated from a Radiology Technologist program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Willingness to perform diagnostic imaging under supervision as part of a PRN bridge to a registered role
• Commitment to safe, patient-centered imaging care

Responsibilities

• Practices within the scope of state licensure.
• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Ensures proper patient identification and order verification and prepares patients for exams.
• Performs exams according to department protocols and reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality.
• Provides appropriate patient education and supports patient comfort and questions.
• Understands imaging equipment and related information systems to capture quality images.
