Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification and state radiologic licensure where required.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• May complete MA competency checklist for clinic/ InstaCare work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT modality competency and comply with protocol.
• Identify patient, verify orders, and prepare for exams.
• Perform exams, review images for quality and accuracy.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain safety.
• Complete studies promptly while ensuring care and quality.
• Educate patients and assist students and staff as needed.
• Infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate procedure records and report issues.
• Follow coding, charging, consents, QC, and equipment failure protocols.
