Job summary

Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, Colorado, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging exams with ARRT competency and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

You will adhere to safety standards, verify orders, assist students, educate patients, and maintain accurate records while using imaging equipment and information systems.

Full-time, overnight 36 hours per week with a competitive hourly wage of 29.43–45.39 USD, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and state license (if applicable) required.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers required.
• May be required to complete MA Competency Checklist and function as an MA in a clinic or InstaCare setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.
• Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality.
• Instructs students and staff on exam protocols, positioning, and equipment.
• Provides patient education and ensures comfort while addressing concerns.
