Job summary

Advocate Health's Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Radiologic Technologist for inpatient X-ray coverage. This PRN/part-time role supports Radiology: Inpatient X-ray services with varying schedules.

You will perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, verify patient identity, document history, prepare contrast media, and consult with radiologists as needed. ARRT-recognized training and registry eligibility within 1 year are required, with BLS.

Qualifications

• Must be BLS certified and ARRT registry eligible within 1 year of hire.
• Experience with radiographic procedures and patient positioning.
• Familiarity with radiologic safety and contrast media preparation.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history on requisition submitted by physician.
• Verifies patient identity verbally and with identifiers.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates equipment and ensures proper positioning for each procedure.
• Maintains appropriate records per departmental standards.
