Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for the Lexington Medical Center Radiology Clinic in Lexington, NC. This PRN role involves performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, documenting patient histories, and ensuring patient identification is verified.

The candidate must graduate from an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program and be registry eligible with completion within 1 year of hire; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by procedure and demonstrates proper positioning.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
