Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Registry-eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to the procedure on the physician's requisition.
• Confirms patient identification verbally and with proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment as dictated by each procedure and ensures proper positioning.
• Maintains records as required by departmental standards.
