Job summary

Ally Medical is seeking a Radiology Technologist Assistant to support physicians and the nurse in charge. You will perform radiographic tests including CT scans, capture quality images, and ensure timely reporting of results.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Applied Science or equivalent, ARRT and CPR/BLS certifications, a Texas license, and at least two years of radiology experience. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and thrive in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Applied Science or equivalent.
• Two years of radiology technologist experience.
• ARRT Certification required.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Texas Department of State Health Service radiology license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive patient care under the direction of the RN in charge and/or physician.
• Take measurements, vital signs, IV initiation, blood draws, and document as needed.
• Perform X-ray and CT tests according to protocol.
• Produce quality radiographs and upload images for reads.
• Assist with assessments, examinations and treatment as directed.
• Position patients and assist with splints or dressings as needed.
