Job summary

Ally Medical is seeking a Radiology Technologist in Round Rock, TX to assist physicians and registered nurses in delivering patient care. The role includes operating radiologic equipment to produce radiographs and CT scans, performing related procedures, and ensuring timely reporting of results.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification, Texas licensure, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

Must have ARRT certification and Texas licensure as Radiology Technologist.
CPR/BLS certification required.
Current license from the Texas Department of State Health Services for Radiology Technologist.

Responsibilities

Provide supportive care to patients under supervision of RN in charge or physician.
Take measurements, vital signs, IV initiation and blood draws to assist nursing and physician staff.
Perform diagnostic imaging using x-ray and CT per protocol and upload images for reads.
Apply proper techniques during radiology testing and related lab procedures.
Report lab and radiology results promptly to RN or physician.
Assist with assessments, examinations and treatment as needed.
Assist with patient transfers, dressing changes, and splint/cast applications.
