Job summary

American Family Care is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology exams in a fast-paced urgent care setting while supporting clinical and front-desk operations.

The role requires ARRT certification in good standing and, where required, an RT state license, plus active BLS. You may flex into MA duties when not imaging, with opportunities to work CT/MRI as available. AFC emphasizes pay equity, benefits, and ongoing CEUs.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in good standing and RT license where required.
• Active BLS certification or onboarding period completion.
• 1+ year imaging experience in urgent care/ER preferred.
• Strong insurance verification and EMR documentation skills.
• Willingness to cover MA/MR duties as needed.
• Experience in radiology, CT, or MRI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiology (X-ray) exams safely, following ALARA.
• X-ray technologist supporting urgent care operations and patient flow.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure timely care.
• Flex into MA clinical duties (triage, labs, venipuncture, wound care) when not imaging.
• Assist with MR tasks (insurance verification, registration, payment collection).
• Maintain equipment QC and compliance logs.
