Job summary

Hireology is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will assist with mobility and functional goals, administer prescribed treatments, and support the Physical Therapist under supervision.

Responsibilities include documenting care thoroughly, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team, and educating patients and families while ensuring regulatory compliance. Texas PTA license and Net Health experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license in good standing with licensing boards.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of SNF or long-term care practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled therapy under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Document care thoroughly and timely per policies and regulations.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and respond to requests for service.
• Monitor patient response and adjust plans of care as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment and home programs.
• Attend required rehab meetings and maintain regulatory compliance.
