Job summary

Creative Solutions In HealthCare in Richardson, TX seeks a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will administer prescribed PT treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to help residents improve mobility and quality of life.

The position requires an active Texas PTA license; SNF or long-term care experience is preferred. Net Health experience is a plus, and strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient with rehab team coordination and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Respond to requests for service and relay information and referrals to the Physical Therapist
• Implement and modify patients' plans of care under PT supervision
• Measure and record patients' motor function, strength, and muscle performance
• Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust approaches with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Ensure thorough and timely documentation per policy and regulatory requirements
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab
