Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare - East in Kemp, TX is seeking a Per Diem (PRN) Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab team. The PTA will deliver prescribed therapies to residents, under PT supervision, with a focus on restoring function and promoting healing.

Qualified candidates hold a Texas PTA license, have current knowledge of PT practices, and can work with diverse patient needs. In-house rehab, flexible schedules, and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current physical therapy treatment practices.
• Familiarity with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and restore function.
• Provide services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist per physician orders.
• Relay information and referrals to the Physical Therapist on request.
• Implement and modify the patient’s treatment plan with PT supervision.
• Measure and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment with IDT collaboration.
• Provide clinical education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Ensure documentation complies with company and regulatory requirements.
• Attend required Rehab Director designated meetings.
