Zusammenfassung

Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. seeks a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis in Midland, Texas.

You will provide person-centered care to help residents improve mobility, strength, and quality of life under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include administering prescribed treatments, documenting progress, coordinating with the PT and interdisciplinary team, and educating patients and families.

Qualifikationen

• Active and valid Texas PTA license in good standing.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices and documentation standards.

Aufgaben

• Administer medically prescribed PTA treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled PT services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Relay service requests to the PT and coordinate care.
• Implement and modify care plans under PT supervision.
• Measure and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust approaches with the care team.
• Provide clinical education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Ensure timely documentation per policies and regulations.
• Attend required meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.
