Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will administer medically prescribed PT treatments to help residents mobility and quality of life.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas PTA license in good standing, with SNF or long-term care experience preferred. Net Health experience is a plus, and you will collaborate with a PT and the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Administer prescribed PT treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide PT services and interventions under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information to the Physical Therapist.
• Implement and modify patients' plans of care under PT supervision.
• Measure and record motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient response and adjust approaches with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
