Job summary

Varco Home Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for one-on-one, home-based care in Amarillo and surrounding areas. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling to support work-life balance or additional income while delivering meaningful, patient-focused care.

You will provide therapy under a supervising PT, educate patients and caregivers, document visits, and monitor progress in a home setting, with opportunities for independence in daily field work.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license is required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
