Job summary

Beaumontnursingandrehab in Texas is seeking a compassionate PTA to join our in-house rehab team on a PRN basis. You will administer prescribed therapies, work under a PT, and help residents improve mobility and quality of life.

Responsibilities include documenting care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and educating families. Prior SNF experience and knowledge of Net Health are a plus. Texas license required and New graduates welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices.
• Ability to work under supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed PTA treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled PT services under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Relay service requests to the PT and assist with referrals.
• Implement and adjust care plans under PT supervision.
• Measure motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor patient response and adjust approaches with the team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on care and progression.
• Ensure timely documentation in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Attend meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab.
