Job summary

Yorkview Nursing and Rehab in York, PA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing setting. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to assess residents, contribute to treatment planning, and deliver therapies aimed at improving mobility, function, and independence.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required from an accredited PTA program.
• Current Pennsylvania PTA license.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist with resident evaluations as directed by the PT.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with PT input.
• Deliver therapies to improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence.
• Document treatment and resident progress accurately and promptly.
• Communicate progress and changes with the PT and care team.
• Maintain compliance with clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education.
