Yorkview Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitation services in our skilled nursing facility in York, PA.
The Physical Therapist Assistant works under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist in assessing residents, developing treatment programs, and delivering physical therapy services designed to improve mobility, function, and independence.
PRN / As Needed
Consistent hours available for maternity leave coverage around December/January
Provide physical therapy services within the PTA scope of practice in accordance with established standards and department procedures
Assist the Physical Therapist with resident evaluations as directed
Assist the Physical Therapist with developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence
Document treatment provided and resident progress accurately and timely
Communicate resident progress and changes with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team
Maintain compliance with clinical, regulatory, and facility standards
Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to resident-centered care and professional excellence
Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
