Job summary

Care Pavilion Nursing & Rehab Center in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will deliver high-quality services to help residents regain strength, mobility, and independence in a collaborative skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Pennsylvania PTA license in good standing.
• Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as outlined in the established plan of care.
• Document treatment sessions using Net Health EMR.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes in condition.
• Educate residents and families on exercises, mobility, and safety techniques.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.
