Job summary

Yorkview Nursing and Rehab in York, PA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitation services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will assist in resident assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, deliver interventions to improve strength, mobility and independence, document progress, and communicate with the care team.

This PRN role offers flexible hours and maternity leave coverage around December/January.

Qualifications

Yorkview Nursing and Rehab – York, PA

Yorkview Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide rehabilitation services in our skilled nursing facility in York, PA.

The Physical Therapist Assistant works under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to assist in assessing residents, developing treatment programs, and delivering physical therapy services designed to improve mobility, function, and independence.

Shift Available

• PRN / As Needed

• Consistent hours available for maternity leave coverage around December/January

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services within the PTA scope of practice in accordance with established standards and department procedures

• Assist the Physical Therapist with resident evaluations as directed

• Assist the Physical Therapist with developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

• Provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve strength, mobility, balance, and functional independence

• Document treatment provided and resident progress accurately and timely

• Communicate resident progress and changes with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team

• Maintain compliance with clinical, regulatory, and facility standards

• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
