Saint Alphonsus Health System in Nampa, Idaho is hiring a part-time Phlebotomist for a PRN, mixed-shift role including weekends. You will draw blood, identify patients, and handle labeling, processing and specimen transport while performing related clerical tasks.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication, and basic computer skills; phlebotomy certification is preferred, as is prior hospital phlebotomy experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification Preferred.
• Hospital phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and hospital staff.
• Good working knowledge of medical terminology and computers.

Responsabilidades

• Collect blood samples and correctly identify patients.
• Transport specimens and perform related clerical tasks.
• Register, order, and properly collect, label, process and distribute specimens for lab testing.
• Perform data entry and serve as central communication for lab requests.
