Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Phlebotomist/Central Processing Tech for our Boise, Idaho medical center. This full-time role includes rotating shifts with differential pay for evenings, nights, and weekends.

The ideal candidate will perform blood collection, specimen labeling, processing, data entry, and act as a central communication point for the lab. High school diploma and hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Good working knowledge of medical terminology and computers.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients and correctly identify them.
• Transport specimens and perform related clerical and computer functions.
• Register, order, label, process, and distribute specimens for laboratory testing.
