Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking Phlebotomist Technicians for our Nampa Hospital. This PRN, part-time role requires weekend and rotating shifts with night/weekend differentials. Phlebotomy certification and hospital experience are preferred.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, patient identification, labeling, processing, and data entry, under supervision. No health insurance benefits or PTO provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and hospital staff.
• Good working knowledge of medical terminology and computers.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Experience in phlebotomy in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples, correctly identify patients, transport specimens and perform related clerical and computer functions.
• Register, order, proper collection, labeling, processing, and distribution of specimens for laboratory testing; perform data entry; serve as central communication for the laboratory.
