Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a part-time Phlebotomy Tech for our Laboratory Draw Center across the Treasure Valley. This role leverages your phlebotomy and lab tech experience to support patient care.

Schedule is 20 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, 7am to noon. You will collect blood samples, identify patients, and perform related clerical tasks, data entry, and specimen processing under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and hospital staff.
• Good working knowledge of medical terminology and computers.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Hospital phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples and correctly identify patients.
• Transport specimens and perform related clerical tasks.
• Register, order, label, process and distribute specimens for testing.
• Enter data in computer systems and communicate lab requests.
