Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking Phlebotomist Technicians for our Nampa Hospital. This PRN, part-time role involves rotating shifts, including weekends, with various start times.

The phlebotomist will collect blood samples, identify patients, transport specimens, and handle related clerical and computer duties. Under supervision, you will register, order, collect, label, process, and distribute specimens for laboratory testing across all ages, using computer programs and ensuring data

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and hospital staff.
• Good working knowledge of medical terminology and computers.

Responsabilidades

• Collect blood samples and correctly identify patients.
• Transport specimens and perform related clerical and computer tasks.
• Register, order, collect, label, process, and distribute specimens for lab testing.
• Perform data entry and use relevant computer programs.
• Liaise as the central communications point for laboratory requests.
