Labcorp in Passaic, NJ, is seeking a Phlebotomist for a casual/PRN role. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections across all ages, ensure proper specimen handling, and provide excellent patient service in a lab setting.

The position requires a HS diploma or GED, phlebotomy experience, and may include a certification. Travel to additional sites may be required, and flexibility for overtime is expected. Labcorp offers comprehensive benefits for staff working 20+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
