Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Passaic, NJ. This casual/PRN position has hours that are as needed and vary by business need. The role involves phlebotomy, specimen collection, data entry, and delivering excellent patient service in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience; 2+ years preferred. Pay ranges from $17.75 to $24.00 per hour with benefits and potential PST Incentive Plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 2 years or more experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
