Job summary

Akumin Inc. is seeking a PET-CT Technologist for its South Florida facilities on a PRN basis. The role emphasizes patient comfort, safety and accurate imaging, with responsibilities including pre-screening, image quality, and collaboration with radiologists.

Candidates should have Nuclear Medicine certification (NMTCB/ARRT N), CPR, and licensing where required, plus 1–2 years of experience. A flexible, patient-centered environment and multi-location assignments await.

Qualifications

• Certification in Nuclear Medicine by NMTCB or ARRT (N) required.
• State license, CPR certification, and valid driver's license where applicable.
• 1-2 years' Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
• Ability to work at several locations.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-screen for safety and radioactive-material handling; follow radiation safety rules.
• Produce high quality diagnostic PET-CT images.
• Communicate with customers and radiologists effectively.
• Train new technologists and/or PC's.
• Troubleshoot the scanner and peripheral equipment.
