Akumin Inc. is recruiting a PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with radiopharmaceuticals, including PET and PET/CT, across Plantation, Aventura and Coral Springs facilities.

The role requires a High School Diploma, NMTCB/ARRT certification, state license if applicable, and CPR/BLS; flexibility to cover shifts and travel between sites is essential. Safety, HIPAA, and documentation duties are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification required.
• State license, if applicable, required.
• CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform diagnostic imaging per physician orders.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine and PET/PET-CT equipment ensuring image quality and safety.
• Maintain documentation of radiopharmaceutical handling and radiation exposure.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Provide patient care, training, and support across multiple sites.
