Job summary

Akumin is seeking a PET-CT Technologist for our South Florida facilities in a PRN capacity. You will perform PET-CT imaging, ensure patient safety, prepare patients, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality studies.

The ideal candidate holds NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification, state licensure, CPR, and 1–2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience. Local travel between sites may be required, with flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification required.
• State license and CPR certification required.
• 1–2 years Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
• Ability to work at several locations and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety, including pre-screening and radiation safety.
• Produce high-quality PET-CT diagnostic images.
• Communicate with radiologists and patients effectively.
• Train new technologists/PCs as needed.
• Troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment.
