Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. in Phoenix seeks an experienced Operating Room nurse (circulator) for its same-day Surgery Clinic.

This PRN role requires a minimum of 2 years as an OR circulator and Periop 101 training; shifts are 6:30am-3pm, Mon-Fri, with no weekends or holidays. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver perioperative nursing care to pediatric patients across ortho, eyes, general surgery, urology, gynecology, plastics and dental procedures, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as an operating room circulator.
• Perioperative 101 training required.
• Pediatric OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessment across age groups and conditions.
• Implement and monitor plans of care per policy; provide health education.
• Coordinate care and transitions within and outside the organization.
• Advocate for patients and families, support ambulatory services navigation.
• Evaluate patient response and document in medical records.
• Ensure safe patient care and maintain infection control and confidentiality.
• Mentor students and new staff; support teamwork.
