Job summary

Desert Ridge Outpatient Surgery Center is seeking an OR Circulator RN for PRN shifts. The OR RN will deliver perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing operative and invasive procedures, including pediatrics and geriatric age groups.

The role spans multiple specialties such as gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, urology, GYN, Plastics, ophthalmology, and general surgery. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, holds an Arizona RN license, and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• OR experience required
• Current Arizona license as a Registered Nurse
• Current in CPR, ACLS and PALS
• Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
• Knowledgeable of policies and procedures specific to operating room nurse.

Responsibilities

• The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for nursing activities related to care of patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures.
• Care for adult patients, including older adult and geriatric, and pediatric patients from 1 month through adolescence.
• Provide perioperative nursing care in gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, urology, GYN, Plastics, ophthalmology, and general surgery.
