Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. seeks an experienced circulating OR Registered Nurse to join our pediatric OR team. The ideal candidate has at least one year of circulating RN experience in a hospital setting or completed Periop 101 training.

The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule, 5/8 shifts with minimum call, no weekend or holiday requirements, and offers a patient-centered environment focused on pediatric care and family involvement.

Qualifications

• Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program.
• Current State of Arizona RN license or compact state license prior to start date.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessment of patient conditions, including age-related factors and treatment plans.
• Evaluate patient responses to care, document progress and communicate with the team and families.
• Supervise assigned team members and ensure safety, infection control and care quality.
• Provide orientation and mentorship to students and new employees on unit processes.
• Collaborate with the care team to implement the plan of care and coordinate activities.
