Job summary

Grand Canyon University seeks adjunct clinical and lab nursing faculty (PRN) to support pre-licensure students. The role requires travel within the Fort Collins, CO area to observe performance during rotations and labs.

Pay is $60/hour for day clinicals, $70/hour for night clinicals, and $50/hour for Labs, with labs having no grading requirements. BSN is required; MSN preferred with immediate enrollment in unison with GCU.

Qualifications

• BSN required; BSNs will be required to enroll in in GCU MSN Leadership or MSN Education program, immediately upon hire, paid for by GCU.
• MSN preferred.
• Active, current, unencumbered RN license; multi-state (compact).
• Minimum 2 years' recent work experience in pediatrics nursing with an MSN.
• Must pass drug test and competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content and teaching for pre-licensure nursing.
• Collaborate with content area faculty to evaluate and document student progress.
• Participate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs.
• Stay current with trends in nursing practice.
• Maintain accreditation program compliance.
• Uphold nursing tenets and university mission.
• Travel to GCU student sites to observe performance.
• Support of university program and community service.
