Grand Canyon University invites applications for PRN Adjunct Clinical Nursing faculty. The role includes observing students during clinical rotations in the Denver/Englewood area and traveling as scheduled.

Compensation is $60/hour for day clinicals, $70/hour for night clinicals, and $50/hour for labs. Primary duties include reinforcing didactic content, evaluating progress, and contributing to accreditation compliance.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• BSN grads must enroll in MSN Leadership or MSN Education program immediately upon hire.
• 3 years' Behavioral Health/Psych Health experience with BSN.
• Active, current, multi-state RN license.
• Must pass drug test and competency testing.
• Excellent communication and ability to build relationships with students.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content, teaching the knowledge and skills needed for pre-licensure nursing.
• Collaborate with content area faculty to provide evaluation and documentation of student progress toward clinical objectives.
• Participate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs.
• Remain current with trends and development in nursing practice.
• Maintain compliance with program accreditation requirements.
• Travel to GCU student sites to observe student performance.
• Support the university program in all areas including alignment with the institution's philosophy and community service.
