Job summary

Grand Canyon University invites applications for PRN Adjunct Clinical and Lab Nursing faculty. Travel to Colorado Springs area sites to observe student performance during clinical rotations and labs. Pay is $60/hr for day clinicals, $70/hr for night clinicals, and $50/hr for labs.

You will reinforce didactic content, collaborate on evaluations, and assist with grading while maintaining accreditation standards and patient safety priorities.

Qualifications

• MSN preferred; BSN required and enrollment in MSN Leadership/Education program upon hire.
• Minimum 2 years' pediatric nursing experience with MSN.
• Active, current, multi-state (compact) RN license.
• Pass drug test and competency testing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content and teach knowledge and skills for pre-licensure nursing.
• Collaborate with content faculty for evaluation and documentation of student progress.
• Participate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs.
• Remain current with trends and developments in nursing practice.
• Maintain compliance with program accreditation requirements.
• Travel to GCU student sites to observe student performance and support the program.
