Job summary

Grand Canyon University invites applications for Adjunct Clinical and Lab Nursing faculty. This PRN role involves travel within the Fort Collins, CO area to observe student performance during clinical rotations and labs. Pay is $60/hr for day clinicals, $70/hr for night clinicals, and $50/hr for labs.

BSN is required and MSN is preferred; multi-state RN license needed. The successful candidate will reinforce didactic content, collaborate on evaluations, and participate in grading.

Qualifications

• MSN preferred.
• BSN required; BSNs must enroll in MSN Leadership or MSN Education program immediately upon hire, paid by GCU.
• Graduate credits or national certification in the content area taught are acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce didactic content for pre-licensure nursing.
• Collaborate with faculty to evaluate and document student progress.
• Participate in grading written and clinical performance check-offs.
• Stay current with trends in nursing practice.
• Maintain accreditation program compliance.
• Travel to GCU student sites to observe performance.
