Rapides Regional Medical Center is seeking a PRN Transporter to move patients and items across the hospital, following established procedures and safety rules. The transporter uses various equipment, verifies patient identity with nursing staff, and communicates professionally via radio to ensure efficient, safe transfers.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsabilidades

• Transport patients, charts, specimens and equipment safely to destinations.
• Verify patient identity and notify nursing staff during transport.
• Ensure 98%+ on transport timing and 100% safe handling of patients and equipment.
• Return equipment and notify supervisor of any deficiencies.
