Richmond University Medical Center is seeking a Patient Transporter to safely move patients to and from clinical areas using wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds, while adhering to established policies and procedures.

The role supports emergency response readiness and assists with disaster situations as directed, with a day shift of 7.5 hours. A High school diploma or GED is required; 2–5 years of patient care experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years experience in patient care preferred.
• Must interact positively with patients and hospital personnel; record information accurately; hear and follow directions; able to lift/move patients.

Responsabilidades

• Move patients to and from clinical units using wheelchair, stretcher or bed.
• Respond to alerts to prevent ED diversion, OR holds, and PACU holds; assist with disasters as directed.
