Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Scheduler/Pre-Registrar to efficiently manage incoming calls and fax requests to schedule outpatient tests, ensuring a seamless patient experience. You will complete pre-registration and verify provider orders, contributing to smooth operations.

PRN role (5 shifts in 6 weeks) with no benefits but a 10% pay differential. Must live in Kansas or Colorado; strong organizational and communication skills required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare office experience preferred.
• Familiarity with CPT/ICD-10 codes.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manages incoming calls and fax requests to schedule outpatient tests.
• Completes pre-registration of scheduled patients accurately.
• Verifies provider orders and patient data for registration.
• Checks insurance eligibility and explains financial responsibility.
• Handles high-volume calls and prioritizes tasks efficiently.
