Job summary

Heartland Imaging - Louisville & Elizabethtown, KY is seeking a Patient Coordinator for PRN staffing coverage. You will be one of the first points of contact for patients, assisting with registration, scheduling, and insurance verification while ensuring a smooth check-in to check-out experience in our outpatient imaging centers.

This role offers flexible PRN shifts including day, evening, and weekend slots across Louisville, KY locations, with shift differential opportunities and a 401k program

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in healthcare or outpatient imaging is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to verify insurance and assist with registration and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and phone calls.
• Support front desk operations and handle daily patient needs from check-in to check-out.
• Provide friendly, organized service in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment.
• Coordinate shifts for PRN staffing and help at multiple Louisville centers.

Patient Coordinator - PRN (as needed staffing coverage)

Position Summary:

As a Patient Coordinator, you will be one of the first points of contact for our patients and play an important role in creating a positive experience from check-in to check-out. You'll support the front desk by assisting with registration, scheduling, insurance verification, phone calls, and other daily patient needs. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is friendly, organized, and provides excellent customer service while working in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment.

Job Details:

• Position Status: PRN
• Schedule: As needed for staffing coverage, with flexibility to pick up shifts based on availability and center needs
• Shift Availability: Day, evening, and weekend shifts available
• Location: Opportunity to pick up shifts at either of our outpatient imaging centers in Louisville, KY:
  • 7807 Shelbyville Road
  • 5227 Dixie Highway
