Job summary

Vail Health in Frisco, CO is seeking a PRN Front Desk Registrar to support patient registration, admissions, and related tasks with a focus on accuracy and service quality.

The role includes verifying information, collecting payments, and handling calls with a patient-centered approach. Eligible for a 16% PRN differential; hours are not guaranteed and staffing is on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

• Customer service and clerical experience.
• Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients and performs all registration-related functions, including obtaining consents and collecting financial paperwork and co-payment as required.
• Answers phones and assists patients in accessing care with timely, courteous communication.
• Resolves non-clinical questions within the scope of knowledge while delivering excellent customer service.
• Performs documentation audits for medical necessity and payor requirements using EMR and other systems.
• Schedules procedures and educates patients on pre/post exam requirements where applicable.
• Manages and organizes patient files and scans medical records.
• Handles department correspondence, mail, faxes, and inquiries, routing as needed.
• Maintains front desk supply inventory and contributes to cost-effective spending.
